Founded in 1991 Cat Music is the main pillar of the Romanian music industry being the record label which holds 60 % of the Romanian music repertoire, more than 30 % market share and currently is EMI licensee. Between 2003 - 2005, O-Zone boy band was number one in the European Billboard top for 16 weeks, has sold over 5 million units worldwide, 1 million units in Japan. Cat Music/Media Services has also launched DJ Project, Cleopatra Stratan and Geo Da Silva worldwide.
