During ADE Peter Hook is invited to tell us something about inspiration, making music and his book. But who is this guy, what has he done? Well, he was the bass and keyboard player of the group that made the best selling 12” ever: Blue Monday. Well, that should ring a bell, we’re all electronic music lovers right?
Off course we are talking about the band New Order. And before that, he was part bassist of Joy Division. And they released their first EP way back in 1979, which means he has been around for 30 years. That should give some cool and interesting anecdotes. Especially about the Haçienda, that also is the subject of his book: The Haçienda, how not to run a club?
